Rita Howard

Rita was a fine dramatic actress who joined the Garrick in the 1960's, but she also occasionally played comedy roles such as Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit.

With her strong and powerful personality, she later became actively involved in the day-to-day running of the theatre, serving on the Executive Committee for many years. She was also a leading member of the Play Selection and Casting Committee.

Rita's overall contribution to the continued success of the Garrick cannot be underestimated.
